Hey guys, hope you enjoyed your last weekend because mine was educating, amazing, networking, in short last weekend has been the best weekend in the month of November so far because I was at the second anniversary of SGTC and it was superb. A lot of you would be wondering what’s sgtc all about well sgtc is a ready to wear afrocentric clothing brand, stylish African pieces available to every style and shape preference and it owned by the beautiful, talented, success driven adetoke oluwo .

The event took place on the 17th of November 2018 at the sidewalk restaurant and bar Victoria island. The event started with a fashion workshop where we were taught how to make beautiful African jewelries using Ankara fabrics and it was an amazing session with @cindycut25 all the way from warri and I learnt a new craft that day.

After the craft session the event took off officially with our beautiful, talented and energetic host @shadeladipo and few items were given away by playing an interesting game

We had panel session and the first session was about body shaming and size and it was an interactive session because we were taught to love and appreciate ourselves more because no matter what people will talk, if it not about your shape, it going to be about a particular feature in your body, your teeth, your stomach and so on and the panel was with @sohmmie and @kinghadassahofficial

The second session was about financial security and we were to know our expenses, our income and the figures because many people don’t pay attention to that and it’s really bad and it was an educating session with @thebridgebooks and @moneyafrica and moneyafrica gave out 3 slots to her financial class for free

The third session was about H.R and P.R many people have good designs, good product but don’t know how to put it out there they just upload have no idea about H.R or P.R and branding is everything and it was an amazing session with sade dosunmu and @yettyd

The fourth panel is a bit of everything media girl, fashionista, movie star, comedian and so much more and it was an encouraging session with the likes of @tomike_a, @wofaifada sharing their stories how they had their big break while still in the university, the beautiful @iambubublaq and @olarslim shared their stories as well and the only male among them the one and only @khaz_customs the first black guy who started a car wrapping business, window tinting in the united kingdom

The final panel session was all fashion, stylist, brand influencer and we had the likes of @style_territory @therealrhonkefella @obis.ara @styleconnaisseur @michealfreesoul @thestyleinfidel and it was a superb session.

It was an amazing and educating event and I’m happy to be part of it. Thank you @adetokeoluwo for bringing this amazing and inspiring people to talk to us and enlighten us for free. In short, you made our Instagram life come to life, we love you.

And to those of you that weren’t at the event you guys missed a lot. Mind you, we got free foods and drinks at the venue

we even got souvenir from Honeywell noodles and @wawoohhq and we got to party till late in the night.

In conclusion, SGTC is not like your regular fashion party, it a workshop and party, double package, 2 in 1. Thank you once more @adetokeoluwo GOD bless you abundantly and the countdown to SGTC at 3 is on already and we were thrilled to music performance by @jesciofficial
