It’s been a long and stressful week but am writing this with a smile on my face. You all must be wondering why am so happy right. Seriously, I don’t know where to start because it something have always wanted to do, something I planned on doing on my last birthday but I couldn’t due to low of cash. Guess what guys I finally did it and so happy about it, I feel fulfilled, I feel joy.

I joined an organization where they reach out to the less privilege children in our community and the name of the organization is BUBBLES by RESTRUCTUREAFRICA.

Bubbles is raising international leaders who are not just passionate about giving but solving a community problem they have identified, the organization is in 10 different locations and I joined the one in my community through a friend she introduced me to the group, am a proud member of #bubblesmushin

On Saturday, the 15th of December 2018, we visited the correctional home for girls in idi-araba mushin and it was a fun filled day, we weren’t able to meet all the girls because there were other groups present at the centre so the girls were divided into groups.

We introduced ourselves, the girl introduced themselves, we watched a movie with the girls titled (QUEEN OF KATWE) and it was an educating and amazing movie, a movie based on true life story you guys should go check it out, if you haven’t

After the movie, we had an interactive session with the girls, questions and answer, mentorship and we gave them the little gifts we brought.

And I sure learned a lot from the girls. A particular girl named damilola said a lot of mind blowing quotes and I can only remember one. She said and I quote

“Don’t be a fry in the pan”

“Don’t let your situation define who you are”

Would have shown you her picture but we aren’t allowed to take the girls pictures for security reason. It was an amazing experience because the girls welcomed us and interacted with us like they’ve known us for a long time. For a moment, I felt they are my family with happy smiles on their face and I felt pure happiness seeing the smiles on their faces

I definitely want to come back here and more time with the girls.

Here’s are some of the paintings made by the girls

You all granted me my biggest wish in 2018

You must be very proud to be a part of such a wonderful experience as helping others in need.

I believe everything wrote made a great deal of sense. However, think on this,
suppose you were to create a awesome headline?
I ain’t suggesting your content is not good., but suppose
you added a post title to possibly get a person’s attention? I mean WHY GIVING BACK TO THE
COMMUNITY IS IMPORTANT – TheAduni is a little plain. You should look at Yahoo’s front page and note how they create article titles to get viewers to open the links.
You might add a related video or a pic or two to get people excited about
what you’ve got to say. In my opinion, it might make
your posts a little bit more interesting.
