Let’s face it we all get distracted
Even your so-called celebrities and role model, everyone get distracted don’t let anyone sugarcoat words for you online.. I achieved this in 3 days, you can too.. I’m not disputing the fact that they did but our minds are wired differently.
They wouldn’t share the part they got distracted or times they were feeling down but you on the other side get distracted a lot and you trying to achieve what they did in 3 days, you rush things and boom you end scattering everything because you weren’t working in your pace
Never use someone else work to compare yourself, you either end up hating yourself or the person you comparing yourself too..
Why do i feel like I’m not making sense
It might feel like I’m sounding angry or offended, I’m not or maybe i am, i just want to clear my head and let something’s out

A lot of people get distracted but they don’t want to admit it you all come online forming badass, forming boss and confusing innocent people.
I get distracted, we all do, it natural for everyone to get distracted but it shouldn’t be too much or should i say we shouldn’t be addicted to our distractions because it affects a lot of things and it can make things really worse and make you feel less capable
Today, i would be sharing 3 things that distracts me and how i dealt with them
My cellphone: This is my biggest distraction even though i use my phone to work most of the time, it distracts me the most.
Me using the phone to work is a different thing, accessing the internet is the main problem. I am currently working on my phone, working with time and all, once i access the internet to check or confirm something, i know I’m done with work for the day
Even when i tell myself to be productive for the day, i end up doing little or nothing.
It was really hard overcoming this distraction, i started by waiting till I’m out of data before i work and it was hard because i might need to check something online but no data to check or confirm something online.
Besides, i can’t continue waiting for my data to finish before i get some work done but i really work when I’m out of data, i finish a week work within few minutes and i told myself I’m the architect of my own problem
Then i thought about it and came up with a solution, i did a schedule for when to use my phone, even when I’m working and i need to check something online, i write it down somewhere till later and check unless if it needed at the moment, i check and drop my phone immediately and it has been working so far, because i have made up my mind to work with the phone schedule
Disclaimer: What works for me might not work for you
The TV SET: This is the second thing that distract me when I’m not using my phone. If I’m not watching nickelodeon,I’m watching Indian movies or probably listening to music and i make sure i don’t miss Entertainment Splash on TVC everyday.
You people that work from home, i hail you… You guys are the boss of all bosses, how do you all do it and still deliver
How did i overcome this, once i know i want to work i just excuse myself from the sitting room and go somewhere i know i won’t hear any sound, somewhere awfully quiet, once i start working, i wouldn’t know time have been far spent but i still give myself ENT splash break and it’s been working
Gists/ talking: There are some people i avoid when i know i want to work, my mum, my neighbor and my brother.. You see the 3 of them ehn, once i know i have work to do that day i just look for every way to avoid them because once i start a conversation with any of them, i won’t do anything that day.
There are some people that call me when working that i don’t pick their call because once i pick any of their call, have closed for the day
I love gists/ talking, so i avoid people i know that distracts me with gist, because i would want to listen to whatever it is you want to say. I avoid them, without them knowing because that way they won’t feel bad and not avoid me when i want to talk
This tactic has been working for me even though, it mights sound or look bad to some people but it works.
I asked this question on my WhatsApp status, sometimes last week and most of the people that replied said their phone but 2 guys gave me a different response
One of them said, absence of electricity, i was confused when he said this till he explained, he said and i quote that the thought of his laptop going off soon once the power is out, distracts him because he works on his laptop
The second guy said, once his girlfriend enters when he’s working, he won’t be able to concentrate anymore
I can boldly say it, that our phone distracts us even though some of us work on our phone, it still our biggest distraction
