SUNTAN BEACH BADAGRY || ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT SUNTAN BEACH

Suntan beach

I visited suntan Beach in Badagary last weekend and it was amazing but before that i will like to apologize for disappearing

Bloggers Block/ Creative Block/ Writers Block all kind of Block you can think of in the Content Creation industry is a thing and it hit me really hard this year

Suntan Beach

Trust me when I say this, It wasn’t  intentional but I experienced all kinds of Blocks in this past few months and imposter syndrome is a B***H

I couldn’t keep making up excuses when people ask me why I haven’t been posting on my blog to be honest, I ran out of excuses

It was when I renewed my domain and hosting recently that I said to myself, I can’t keep paying for what I’m not using, so I gotta put something out whether I like it or notSuntan Beach

I would like to officially announce that I’m back and I won’t run away again hopefully

Feel free to say I came back with the heat, all the hotness and something exciting on the blog but before that

Today I would be sharing my experience about my visit to the Suntan Beach on the 5th of September 2021

The plan was to visit the most talked about WHISPERING PALMS RESORT but plans changed last minute when we entered Badagry but that’s by the way

Suntan beach

To begin with, I didn’t even know there was a beach called Suntan Beach in Nigeria and I’m sure most of you all haven’t heard of it either

Like I said earlier, we left the house with the intention of visiting Whispering Palms in Badagry but we ended up in Suntan Beach, which wasn’t a bad idea at all

ABOUT SUNTAN BEACH AND WHERE IT’S LOCATED

Suntan Beach is a government owned (public) beach in the west of Badagry Lagos State

It’s located about a 15 minute car ride from the border of Benin Republic.

HOW TO GET TO SUNTAN BEACH

We took off from Lasu- Igando road and passed through First Gate and we linked Agbara then en-route Lagos- Badagry Express way

We spent roughly 3 hours from Lasu-Igando road to our destination and it was on a Sunday, imagine if it was during weekdays

IS SUNTAN BEACH Far?

In my opinion, Suntan Beach isn’t far but the roads are terribly bad, if you aren’t good with driving please don’t drive because we were switching from both sides of the road and there were trailers everywhere

Friendly advice, don’t go there with a new car or a very low car

There are also a lot of stop over on the road, from Lastma to police officers to immigration officers

The stops are 5 minutes from each other and you will be asked questions at each stop over both going and coming

Although the stop over coming back aren’t much like the stop over going into Badagry
QUESTIONS TO EXPECT AT EACH STOP OVER

• Your Name
• Your Tribe
• Where you are headed/Coming from
• Your State of Origin

I’d advice you go with a means of identification
Suntan beach ENTRANCE FEE

We paid 200 naira for parking our car, the parking fee for bus is 500 ( there isn’t a ticket for this)

The Parking Area is very spacious and can take a whole lot of cars unlike other beach

We paid 500 naira each for entry but the entry fee for kids is 200 and you get a ticket before entering the beach

In addition, you can go in with your foods and drinks or you can get food and drinks in there

There are varieties of food at suntan beach so you get to pick even Suya Spot isn’t left out

We went with our food though, we only bought drinks at the beach and the prices weren’t on the high side

THE DRINKS WE BOUGHT AT SUNTAN BEACH

• Chivita Exotic Drink = 1200(naira)
• Best Cream( Small Size) =1500(naira)
• Monster Drink = 700(naira)
• Bottled Water = 100(naira)

A boy named Samuel took our orders and he delivered perfectly well for his age, he should be around 10/11 years old but he’s really outspoken and good.

I totally recommend Samuel when you visit the beach

Further more, you don’t have to worry about getting pictures at suntan beach because there are stand by photographers at suntan beach to take your pictures and they send you the soft copy at the rate of 200 naira per picture

The more the pictures, the lesser the price

In Conclusion, Suntan beach is one of the best beach to visit in Lagos, Nigeria.

I totally recommend the beach because it isn’t crowded, it’s really neat, spacious and beautiful for a government owned beach

You should definitely visit Suntan Beach if you are in Lagos

All pictures were snapped by a photographer at the beach and they were all unaware pictures.
I was posing for the phone camera, I didn’t know I was being snapped by a professional camera
