CHRONICLES OF A FRUSTRATED 20+ LIVING IN SOUTHWEST, NIGERIA(EPISODE 1)

Hi My Loves, Hey Bestie, Hiyaaaa, Enle ooo.. Whatever category you fall in, please take your greeting because I do not know how to start this, but I know I want to make this space my digital diary where I share all the SHEGE and escapades(maybe not) tagged, Chronicles of a Frustrated 20+ living in southwest Nigeria.

I will try my best to share and upload new episodes regularly, provided I go out(which I rarely do), but it looks like I will be on the move for the next 6 months(fingers crosssed)

Chronicles of a 20+ living in southwest, Nigeria

Let’s get into it, shall we…. Once upon a time, in a town in Southwest Nigeria( oh, scratch that 😂😂😂)

People always complain and say getting a job isn’t easy, you need connection for this and that but I’m of a different opinion, I believe if you are fit for the job and you have the necessary qualifications, getting a job shouldn’t be a big deal, but guess who is now having a second thought?😩😩😩

On Monday( 29th April), thing is, I’m not job hunting in that sense, it’s just in that line, wooo it’s actually a lot.🤭🤭🤭

I left my house Monday morning full of energy and excitement that I was going to drop my letter at few companies here in Lagos, don’t know why I was excited, maybe because I haven’t done anything like that before and it was new, I had high hopes and looked forward to it, but my energy went back to zero real fast 😂😂😂

It started with the transport fare, imagine speaking English to a Marwa driver in the trenches, the man was just looking pe who be this one???

Then, nobody is saying much about how scorching the sun, has been, ahhh, and I had to trek, I was legit wandering inside Ajao Estate, call me Wander woman😂😂, I was even walking in the wrong direction so I had to take another Marwa that carried me back to the places I had trekked past before I wan ment, extra cost o.

As if that wasn’t enough, I got my first NO, I shake body that I just started, entered another Marwa, and I was sandwiched to one side, this Mummy could have just paid for 2 people’s seat but Nooo, she didn’t even consider that I’m Orobo o…

Marwa Iron rod was piercing through my skin, I couldn’t say pim, and I still entered the same bus with this woman and this time I was at the last seat close to the door, and I could have sworn that I was going to fall down because the driver also refused to close the door.

I told the driver if I fall down, it won’t be funny.. He goes, you can’t (ba shey man gbe niyen o le jabo), and I told him if I do, I won’t take it lightly with him oo, because he was so sure and was talking like assistant God, and the other passengers were laughing.

No, what is funny… I’m angry, tired, and frustrated, you are laughing…… Howwwwwwww👀👀

To be continued………..
