LIFE UPDATE|| WHY I HAVE BEEN AWAY AND WHAT I HAVE BEEN UP TO

I’m not sure I know how to write here anymore because it’s been so long but you all deserve a life update post.

Believe me, when I say this I didn’t plan on being away for this long but a lot of things happened while I was away, the good, the bad, and the ugly but we move regardless.

WHY I HAVE BEEN AWAY

To begin with, I was dealing with imposter syndrome sometime last year but I was still pushing and forming a hard girl.

I managed to post sometime in November and that was the last time I posted before I lost my website in December and it was crazy.

It was like a movie, I got a mail that my website was attacked something called a “phishing attack” I didn’t even know there was something called “phishing attack” till I got that mail.

They have been sending me emails for weeks and I wasn’t checking my mail and it made the whole process long.

I was told someone created a subdomain under my domain claiming to be IRS and was collecting people’s personal information and scamming them.

I was the victim and suspect at the same time

I was investigated for weeks, sent emails upon mail, sent means of identification and all till I was cleared but I knew my website wouldn’t be the same anymore.

I finally got my website back on the 8th of March 2022 since December 2021 but it wasn’t the same 🥲🥲.

I got my website back empty, over 100 blog posts since 2017 all gone, I felt all sorts of things when I got back an empty website maybe I cried at some point, LOL but it’s not too late to start all over again right?

WHAT I HAVE BEEN UP TO

While I was away, I moved to a new city, started a new learning journey and I have been surviving.

I was there and happy for everyone while in the real sense I was having a hard time if not the hardest time but I’m always there to cheer people on.

Everything went left, it affected and weighed me down so bad.

• I lost the zeal to do anything,  I was not interested in anything and anyone
• My Pinterest engagement dropped drastically from 100k views to nothing 
• I got rejection mails back to back

Amidst all, the most important and good part of it was me helping the people around me secure their dream jobs and that made me so happy.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM ME

I’m back and hopefully, I’m here for good. Like I said earlier, I was helping the people around me secure their dream jobs.
