It’s time for another style post and I will be showing you how to style a silk two piece set.
Hello Besties, we all agreed to stick with this name right
Happy New Month besties, I am so hyped about the new month because a lot of things happened in the last month and I have so much to be thankful for.
I don’t know why but I believe this will be a great month for all of us. Gratitude is a must in Life, regardless of what, who, and where we are.
Please catch up with my last post in case you missed it, I styled a monochrome outfit HERE
Today, I’ll be sharing with you how I styled my silk two piece set, which was gifted to me by mum. My mum got me this material during her market runs for Eid-il-Kabir last year.
For my Non-Muslim besties, you must be wondering what it means, Eid-il-Kabir is a Muslim festival where we kill the ram and give it to the people around and some people travel to their village during this time to celebrate and we are one of the few families that travel for Eid-il-Kabir.
My mum got me this fabric and it was love at first sight, I don’t know if it’s the color or the texture of the fabric, I just loved it, and for someone picky with what I wear, my mum is always skeptical about getting me clothing items because I always complain about it. She was surprised that I didn’t complain about this silk fabric she got, thanks, mum.
After seeing the fabric and falling in love with it, I didn’t know the style to sew with the fabric because I had a different style in mind but I finally settled for these two pieces and I must say I love them so much and I don’t mind wearing this everyday
For this look, I decided to make my outfit more colorful and beautiful as always so I styled it with this orange Yeezy slide and orange bag, just to make my outfit pop and I fell in love with the fabric all over again
This two piece set can be styled in so many ways and here are some of the ways you can style it:
- You can style the pant separately with a white shirt and a pair of flat shoes for your corporate look
- You can style the shirt with a skirt for a casual and chic look
- You can style the pants with a round neck and a pair of sneakers for a comfy look
- You can wear the shirt on a slip dress with your boots and you are good to go
Which of these ways would you be styling your two piece set, let me know in the comment section
We’ve come to the end of this blog post and I hope you enjoyed reading it as much as I loved and enjoyed writing it and most importantly, styling this silk two piece set
